Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived in Hanoi on October 12 evening, starting a three-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

China consistently considers its relationship with Vietnam a priority in its policy of neighborhood diplomacy, said Chinese Premier Li Qiang at a meeting with visiting Vietnamese Party General Secretary and President To Lam in Beijing on August 19.
